Emily began in 2008 as Executive Director of Destination Cleveland County, Inc. (DCC), the Earl Scruggs Center’s founding organization. She helped develop and launch two catalyst projects for regional economic development, the Don Gibson Theatre (November 2009) and Earl Scruggs Center (January 2014). Emily transitioned to her role as Director of the Center in 2013. Emily’s commitment to excellence, experience in education and development of community partnerships has resulted in the Center’s national recognition as a premiere destination welcoming guests from every state and 15 countries since the 2014 opening.
